I initially created this site to serve as inspiration for not only myself but others as a way of essentially saying "Don't Quit!". Anyone that goes down the path less traveled may run into similar situations but the overarching theme remains the same "Don't Quit!". 

I titled this site, Journey to the PhD. I find it difficult that anyone would disagree with the title as it truly is a journey and a goal of mine. This site will serve as more than just a blog about graduate school, it will serve as a blog about my life as only I can depict and gosh do I plan on many obstacles as I embark on the journey but I wouldn't have it any other way.

You must unlearn what you have learned…Try not! Do! Or do not! There is no try.
